Ely Stage Stop Native Plant Garden

Welcome sign displaying native plant garden information

The demonstration garden of native plants at Ely Stage Stop was funded by the Rotary Club of Kelseyville, Sunrise Chapter. Planted and designed by UC Master Gardeners. It’s purpose is to show that native plants such as the state flower, the California Poppy, use less water, have better resistance to climate variations, require no pesticides nor fertilization, and provide habit for many species of insects and mammals. It will be receiving new plantings to rejuvenate the varieties originally installed.
